It's time for Persephone's first solo rotation! I moved her back into her original apartment, but I'll save the tour for the end - I wanted to get as many of her new collectibles in the shots as possible.
Persephone gets the welcome wagon for some reason, despite the fact that she's lived here before.
I'm really not sure what triggers it? It seems pretty random.
The party consists of Liv, Miko, Luna, and Jesminder, who stick around just long enough to watch Persephone fix her bathroom sink, before taking off.
Having met the 'new' neighbours, Persephone's able to play some online games to fulfill her social needs, at least.
Her apartment has the gremlins lot trait, as well as TLC and fast internet, and she gets hit with an overnight event that wipes out all of her electronics.
It's great for heloing her build the last of the handiness skill, but it is a little time consuming and annoying.
Persephone gets an invite from Miko to go out for some food, and I remembered that Miko is actually Persephone's only friend, thanks to all the meet and greets Miko did back in the Olsen's rotation.
They go out to Shimuzu, and the sassy waitress is back, only she's perfectly polite to Persephone...
The food stealing glitch was still going strong when I played this rotation, but I discovered that sitting alone, outside the restaurant actually made it so that no one bothered them, which was amazing.
Persephone got some simstagrams of her food, and I'll probably send her back here a few times to collect the rest of the experimental food prints...
I didn't spot any of the other Paraneighbours couples out on a date this time, but I did spot Carlotta sitting at a table alone.
GeekCon was on the next day, and after installing a mod that lets the townies use the new Get Famous costumes, the festival atmosphere has greatly improved.
Spotted Jeff in this sweet coat while Persephone was there.
Persephone took a little flight to space, and then kicked Andy's ass at the hackathon again.
And then towards the end I discovered they had a bunch of gaming consoles just... sitting out, and while Persephone wasn't able to swipe any of them, I was able to have her dissemble them for parts.
As the festival came to an end, Persephone went and dug through a few boxes, in search of more collectibles.
Then stopped by Plant Honey Pop, where Luna & co were hogging the arcade machine.
I think a karaoke competition started up while Persephone was there, and I entered her for shits and giggles. She performed very poorly and did not place, lol.
Then she went back home, and knocked out a few hours on the computer for one of her aspiration goals, which requires her to spend a total of 100 hours on the computer.
(Something I can easily do in one week, but it takes Persephone more than one rotation...)
Overnight, she gets a little visitor...
And the gremlins knock out her electronics again, so this time around she hires a maid to clean up all the puddles and garbage, so it doesn't take quite as long to get the apartment back in order.
I discovered that these firecrackers contain some little plush collectibles, so I bought about 200 of them and had Persephone spend a day opening them.
It was extremely unexciting. Lots of duds, but every once in a while Persephone found a piece of candy, or one of the plushes...
And after a hard day of work, she finished another collection!
At this point I was on a collectibles roll, so I sent her over to Andy and Miko's, and then used their wormhole in the basement to take Persephone to Sixam.
She collected a bunch of crystals while she was there, and found a figurine or two, but my main purpose of this trip was to try and get some of the little aliens for her.
She didn't get particularly lucky when it came to the collectible aliens, but we did find this alien babe walking around Sixam.
Persephone didn't get a chance to talk to her, but she miiiight be making an appearance in the next rotation. ;)
Anyways, she did come home with one live alien, which is good because she doesn't have the ability to revive the dead ones now that she's swapped her alien powers for mermaid ones.
Next, she takes a trip to StrangerVille to grab a few posters, and maybe a lava lamp or five...
She scavenges through a few more boxes back in San Myshuno...
Goes for a small skate in Willow Creek while on the hunt for some more rocks and digspots...
It's gorgeous inside, and look at those little bats!
There's not a lot of collectibles inside yet, but a few spawn in the park outside while she's down there.
She also finds Scott just before she leaves, who appears to have caught himself a little friend.
I did also have her attend one of the flea market events during one of the earlier household's rotations, in case there were any good collectibles there, but the only thing that was any good there was Cole, in an oversized suit, selling a collection of frogs.
He would.
And with that, it's time for the promised end-of-update apartment tour!
I really liked the kitchen I gave her back in the previous house, so I recreated it in the apartment.
>
Outside on the balcony she has a lovely little area to sunbathe, and splash around in the bath.
I'd give her a hot tub, instead of a bath tub, but the mermaid tails don't appear in that, so tub it was. :P
At some point I think I'd like her to pick up the DJing skill, so I managed to squeeze one of the tables in her bedroom.
She completed the void critter card collection by opening a shit ton of booster packs, and she's slowly working her way through colelcting all of the MySims figurines.
I don't normally like collecting those, but they're kind of cute once you shrink them down a little?
She's also been making some good progress on her poster collection; I'm not sure how many more she has to collect, but she can't be very far off from completing it.
