Rotation 9: DiCarlo

>

Jasper's also celebrating a birthday this rotation, but he's got day or so of childhood left to go.

Luckily for him, that means he has a bit more time to do stuff like dip his hand in the chocolate fountain, and then lick it clean.

It also means that he still has to deal with monsters under his bed. He attempts to wake Carlotta up to take care of one, and it goes about as well as you'd expect.

Caleb gets rid of the monster instead, and then tucks Jasper into bed.

It's really hard to be annoyed with him and his dumb antics when he goes and does cute shit like this.

Carlotta got a fame chance card at work, and since her reputation is already atrocious, I went for it.

The next morning is Jasper's birthday, so Caleb bakes a cake for the occasion.

I went with loner as his second trait, and then I initially gave him the Chief of Mischief aspiration  - so he's got an extra dastardly trait - but I decided to switch him over to Vampire Family, since I never actually completed that with Lilith.

I like to think that he wants to be king of the vampires, but also to have a little vampire family of his own after all the weird family stuff he's dealt with.

I need to get him to a higher vampire rank to give him sunlight immunity, so he's been studying the vampire tomes on his free time.

Caleb's also able to offer him some vampire training, which really helps boost his points.

Lilith can't offer any vampire training, but she does offer him some help with his homework.

Carlotta, on the other hand, ignores everyone in favour of making more beauty videos.

Cas comes over after school, and they great each other with this adorable little bro hug. I've noticed teenage girls have a different greeting, but I haven't managed to get a picture of it yet.

I attempted to send them down to the hot tub to get some flirting going, but they got out of the tub as soon as Carlotta decided to get in.

Unlike Jeff and Alec, she has zero interest in spying on them. If anything, I like to think she came down and interrupted because she wanted the hot tub for herself. She's selfish like that.

(And if it also happens to prevent her sort-of nephew from flirting with the Winchester boy then that's just the ...cherry? on top of her plasma jane.)

Jasper was starting to get a little thirsty himself, and since he had a really good friendship with Cas, I was able to have him ask permission for a small drink.

>
They relocated upstairs for a bit more privacy, but I had Jasper start off with too strong of a flirt (I went right for a bold pick up line, haha), and it didn't go over so well with Cas.

Cas picks that moment to go home, and an embarrassed Jasper buries himself in a book. Quite literally.

Despite their awkward encounter last night, Cas comes over after school again the next day.

Jasper throws a small fit after he loses their game, but exchanging some compliments with Cas quickly puts him in a better mood.

Cas follows him up to his room, and they successfully manage to cuddle for a bit on Jasper's bed.

Then Cas gets up to take a selfie with Jasper's smashed castle (I'm not sure who smashed it, or when they did it, but I'm betting it was Carlotta), and that devolves into a quick gun show from Jasper.

They have a bit of a dance party in the kitchen, and this ghost lady from Windenburg decides to hang around the apartment for a bit.

And speaking of ghosts, I quickly discovered this rotation that having Caleb living on the lot meant that he'd constantly go around breaking all the plumbing.

I'm not sure if that's unique to ghosts that die from electricity/lightning, but it sure is annoying.

It's especially annoying when he breaks the hot tub, because then I ended up panning downstairs to discover this gross mess.

I can't be bothered to have them fix their appliances every time they break, so I've just been replacing them. They've got more money than they know what to do with, anyways.

Thankfully, Caleb doesn't seem to be able to break the sauna, so that's good for keeping him occupied.

Love Day has its own special chance cards for kids and teens, which is really cute. Jasper makes some "hilarious" cards, which seem to go over well, so he ends up having a pretty good Love Day.

Carlotta celebrated by making a special video for the occasion.

Night falls, and Jasper's Love Day is about to get a whole lot better, because it's time for his first date with Cas!They go to a graveyard in Forgotten Hollow, and it's hilariously decorated for Love Day.

They exchange a few kisses outside...

And then they venture down into the mausoleum, where there's very convenient (and empty) coffin.

I noticed they had different text for the mess around interactions, so I'm guessing it's intended to be more like making out than woohoo.

Cas disappeared after they had a bit of fun in the coffin, so Jasper wandered around Forgotten Hollow for a bit, and showed off his new vampire powers to Scott.

He was at the apartment when I sent Jasper back home, so they picked up where they left off.

>
Oops, someone forgot to change the moodlet description for this 'mess around' interaction. ;)

Cas finally goes home for good, and Polly calls to congratulate Jasper on getting together with her brother. I like to think he told her everything as soon as he got home.

These two may have had a small hiccup when they first started flirting, but holy fuck they never leave each other alone now that they're actually dating.

Cas invited Jasper to come hang out at this apartment, and there was nothing particularly exciting going on at the DiCarlo residence, so I sent him over.

I forgot the Winchester's apartment was filled with garlic, so I had to buy Jasper the garlic immunity perk so that he wouldn't be uncomfortable the whole time.

Jeff surprisingly did not stick around to spy on them, but Polly did come out to talk to Jasper, and then talk at Jasper while he and Cas attempted to flirt.

I did have him introduce himself to Jeff, because I want to do some gatherings next rotation, and it's a lot easier to organize when the parents all know their kids' partners.

"No mirror reflection? How are you gonna see your sweet gains without a reflection, bro?"

His introduction with Jeff went over well. Jeff has no idea what's going on though, so that's to be expected.

...but then Alec arrived home from work.

"Jeff you let a vampire into the apartment???"
He looked hilariously pissed about the whole thing (although I'm guessing he was actually just tense because he's a loner and he doesn't know Jasper.) Still, it was exactly how I would have wanted it to go down.

Romeo and Juliet happening right here, folks. Who needs Veronaville?

Jasper seems to sense that this isn't going to end well, so he leaves the room and does some push-ups outside the door. As you do.

Back at the apartment, I found Caleb and Carlotta discussing some pizza. Honestly, this picture alone basically sums up how the adults spent their rotation.
